Cheesy Macaroni With Hamburger
A fantastic flavor combination, sure to be a new favorite
Serves 4 |
|1 cup elbow macaroni |
|1 lb ground beef |
|2 cups water |
|2 tomatoes, (diced) |
|3/4 cup milk |
|1 1/2 oz taco seasoning |
|1/2 teaspoon salt |
|2 tablespoons butter |
|1 cup cheddar cheese, (shredded) |
|1/2 teaspoon pepper |
|2 tablespoons flour |
- Cook ground beef in pan until browned. Drain and add water, tomatoes, taco seasoning and macaroni. Bring ingredients to a boil, reduce heat after boiling and cover. Cook for 12-14 minutes.
- In separate pan, melt butter and whisk in flour. Mix until light brown. Add milk and bring to boil. Mix until smooth and thickened. Take pan off heat, add cheese and let melt.
- Sprinkle in salt and pepper to cheese.
- Pour cheese sauce on macaroni and hamburger mixture. Stir together and serve!
