Grilled Tuna Steaks

Serves 6

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
2/3 cup chicken broth
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 teaspoons dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 tuna steaks

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, broth, garlic, oregano, salt and black pepper.
  2. Pour 1/2 cup of the marinade into a large re-sealable plastic bag. Cover remaining marinade and refrigerate until later use, for basting.
  3. Add tuna steaks to plastic bag; seal bag then turn to coat. Place bag in a large bowl then set in refrigerator for 30 minutes. Turn bag once during marinating time.
  4. Lightly coat grill rack with oil then preheat grill to medium-hot heat.
  5. Drain and discard marinade.
  6. Place tuna steaks on grill then close grill lid. Grill 6-8 minutes per side. While grilling, baste tuna steaks with reserved marinade.
