Red Wine and Cranberry Meatballs
Festive and utterly delicious!
Serves 54 meatballs |
|1 bag Italian-style meatballs, 3 lb. |
|3/4 cup red wine |
|2 cups whole berry cranberry sauce |
|1/2 cup packed brown sugar |
|2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce |
|2 teaspoons hot mustard |
- Combine cranberry sauce, brown sugar, red wine, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce in a saucepan. Simmer and stir for about 15 minutes.
- Add meatballs, stirring to coat, cook for about 5 minutes.
- Place meatballs and sauce in a slow cooker and set to low heat, cook for 4-5 hours.
