Kosher salt, (to taste)
3 cups vegetable shortening, (for deep frying)
2 teaspoons baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 garlic cloves, (minced)
1 egg

Directions:

  1. Tenderize steaks, flatten to 1/4 inch thickness.
